About MyJokeMaker
MyJokeMaker is two things: an AI joke workshop and a curated library of clean jokes. The workshop takes a half-formed funny thought and builds it into a joke with a real structure. The library collects the classic joke forms — waiter jokes, dad jokes, one-liners, knock-knocks, puns and more — alongside craft articles that explain why those forms work.
It is for anyone who needs a laugh on demand and does not have a writers' room: a parent at the dinner table, a teacher opening a lesson, a best man staring at a blank page, a speaker who needs one good line, or someone who simply enjoys taking jokes apart to see how they run.
The joke maker works in plain terms like this. You type an idea — or, in Rebuild mode, just the punchline you half remember. The engine drafts many versions, throws out the predictable endings, tightens the wording so the funniest word lands last, and returns the three takes with the best chance of getting a laugh. You copy the one you like, download it, or share it.
Originality matters to us. Everything the engine writes is generated fresh for you, and everything in the library is either original material we wrote or classic anonymous folk humour of the kind that has been retold for generations. We do not copy comedians' routines, published sets, or copyrighted material, and we do not put invented quotes in real people's mouths. We also keep it clean: material that can be repeated at work, at school, or in front of a grandparent.
The site stays free because it is supported by advertising. There is no account to create, no paywall, no subscription, and no charge for generating or sharing a joke. Ads pay for the engine that writes them.
MyJokeMaker is made by a small independent team who like jokes more than we like meetings. We do not publish personal names, but we do read our mail — questions, corrections, and suggestions all reach us through the Contact page.
